Black College Reunion History

The Black College Reunion is back. With the full support of the City of Daytona Beach, businesses, and city officials we are anticipating a bigger and better crowd. BCR has been around for over a decade and despite the bumps and tatics to disban it. The social and economic benefits of BCR to Volusia County has been recognized and the Official Spring Break destination has been organized.
The Black College Reunion is known to be one of the largest spring break event in the world that takes place every year in March on the beautiful shores of Daytona Beach. Around 10,000-20,000 college students, HBCU allumni, and community supporters make the annual trek to Daytona Beach Florida for 3 days full of fun, food, festivities, entertainment, music and more.

The actual event occurs on one two-mile strip right next to the beach called Atlantic Avenue. All the hotels, clubs, shops, and festivities all take place in general locations so there's no need to drive anywhere to get to your destination.

There are plenty of things to get into during the event. There are concerts, parties, and clubs. However the #1 most popular thing to do is to walk along the avenue, meeting new people and watching the best cars and people that love the Black College Reunion.
